Can you plan multi-day celebrations?
Multi-day celebrations can be discussed. The proposal will state the scope, staffing, travel and additional fees.
Can you work with suppliers we have already selected?
Existing suppliers can be reviewed and coordinated where that work is included in the agreed scope.
Do you manage guest travel or accommodation?
Travel or accommodation coordination may be available as an additional service subject to quotation.
Do you provide décor or catering directly?
Akosua Events coordinates planning and suppliers. Whether it directly provides any production service must be confirmed for the specific proposal.
Do you receive commissions from suppliers?
Ask this during consultation and request the answer in writing for your proposal. The company should publish its approved policy before launch.
Do you work with clients living outside Ghana?
Yes. The diaspora service is designed for clients planning in Ghana while living abroad, with agreed virtual meetings, written decisions and local coordination.
How are planning fees calculated?
Starting fees depend on service and scope. Guest count, complexity, travel, event days and production requirements can affect the final quotation.
How do you communicate with diaspora clients?
The communication channel, decision owners and meeting rhythm are agreed during onboarding to account for time zones.
How far in advance should we enquire?
Enquire as soon as you know your preferred date and venue direction. Availability depends on the date and scope and is not confirmed until checked.
Is the consultation fee deducted from the final package?
This has not yet been confirmed by the business owner. Ask before booking a consultation.
What happens if a supplier fails on the event day?
The team follows the agreed escalation plan and coordinates within the contracted authority. No planner can guarantee a supplier’s performance.
What happens if our event date, venue or guest count changes?
Changes may affect scope, supplier availability and fees. The business will review them and document any agreed change.
What is excluded from the planning fee?
Supplier, venue, guest travel, special procurement and additional event-day costs are separate unless your proposal expressly includes them.
What is the difference between full planning, partial planning and event-day coordination?
Full planning supports the project end to end. Partial planning helps complete work already under way. Event-day coordination requires an agreed handover period and a largely complete plan.

When is our event date secured?
A date is reserved only after the signed agreement and required retainer are received and the business confirms the date.
Where does Akosua Events operate?
The business serves clients planning in Ghana. The precise service area and any travel charges are confirmed in the proposal.
Who pays suppliers?
Supplier payment responsibility and approval steps are set out in the signed proposal. Do not assume supplier costs are included in the planning fee.
